The Next 50 Announces Final Wave of 2026 Endorsements

Washington, D.C. – The Next 50, the organization building the Democratic bench by investing in principled, pragmatic next-generation leaders, today announced its final slate of endorsements for the 2026 cycle: Jen Fox (MN House District 41B), Zack Dunn (TX House District 121), FL Rep. Emily Gregory (FL House District 87), Dr. Jane Aman (FL House District 37), and Rebecca Harned (NH Senate District 7).

“This slate of endorsed candidates represents exactly what The Next 50 was built to find: principled and energetic leaders who show up, listen, and know how to win the toughest races on the map,” said Mari Manoogian, Executive Director of The Next 50. Jen Fox is a lifelong Hastings resident who’s built a business right in the community she’s fighting for, and she is the candidate who can flip this seat and deliver for her neighbors in the legislature. Zack Dunn was raised by two military parents to believe in service over self, and he’s brought that same ethic to prosecuting cases for Bexar County’s most vulnerable residents — now he’s ready to bring it to the Capitol. We were proud to support Emily Gregory in her special election where she flipped a seat in Trump’s backyard, and we’re proud to back her again as she fights to keep costs down for Florida families like her own. Dr. Jane Aman has spent her career in the classroom and organizing her community, and now she’s ready to put working families and students first in Tallahassee. And Rebecca Harned is a working parent who understands the financial pressures facing New Hampshire’s families, seniors, and veterans and will fight tooth and nail to lower costs for Granite Staters. We’re proud to back all five as they take their campaigns to the finish line.”

“I’m running for the Minnesota House of Representatives because I love our district and I believe it can be the place in Minnesota where every family wants to live,” said Jen Fox, candidate for Minnesota House District 41B. “The endorsement from The Next 50 reminds me that our very competitive race for this seat reflects a nationwide goal to create a movement toward more reliable and relatable government.”

“I am honored and excited to have the endorsement of The Next 50! We’re on the ground every single day in Texas House District 121, and partners like The Next 50 are instrumental in helping us flip this district for the first time in nearly 50 years,” said Zack Dunn, candidate Texas House District 121.

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of The Next 50. Their mission to support the next generation of Democratic leaders reflects exactly what this campaign is about – bringing new energy, practical solutions, and community-centered leadership to Tallahassee,” said Rep. Emily Gregory, Florida House District 87. “Together, we’re building a movement focused on lowering costs for Florida families, strengthening our public schools, protecting access to affordable health care, and ensuring every family has the opportunity to thrive. I’m grateful for The Next 50’s support as we work to hold this critical seat and continue delivering for the people of House District 87.”

“I am incredibly honored and excited to be endorsed by The Next 50, which is an organization focused on building the future of the Democratic Party,” Dr. Jane Aman, candidate for Florida House District 37. “As a legislator, I hope to embody the principled, pragmatic leadership The Next 50 envisions in their candidates. I am grateful for their support as we work to flip this critical seat.”

“I’m honored to receive the endorsement of The Next 50. Their commitment to developing and investing in the next generation of political leaders reflects exactly why I’m running – to help build a stronger New Hampshire where every generation has the opportunity to thrive,” said Rebecca Harned, candidate for New Hampshire Senate District 7. “I’m grateful for their confidence and proud to stand and work together with leaders committed to building a better future.”

About the Candidates

Jen Fox is a lifelong Hastings resident, owner of a small business, and a former Hastings City Council member. She’s running to bring the voices of everyone in District 41B to the State Capitol, with a platform centered on securing state funding for infrastructure — roads, bridges, sidewalks, and accessible transit — and fighting for clean drinking water for communities facing nitrate-contaminated groundwater.

Zack Dunn was raised by two military parents who taught him service over self, he’s running on caring for veterans and military families, attracting high-paying jobs and investing in vocational training, and using his experience prosecuting domestic violence and sexual assault cases to push commonsense public safety policy.

FL Rep. Emily Gregory is a mom of three, a military spouse, and a small business owner facing the same affordability pressures as the families she represents — climbing grocery bills, rising insurance costs. She flipped Florida House District 87, which includes Mar-a-Lago, in a March 2026 special election and is now running for a full term focused on lowering costs for Florida families.

Dr. Jane Aman is a UCF lecturer, longtime community organizer, and middle-class educator who bartended her way through college and rents her home in Central Florida. She’s running to fully fund public schools, expand access to affordable healthcare, protect reproductive rights, and hold the insurance industry accountable to Florida taxpayers.

Rebecca Harned is a working parent and research scientist who spent more than a decade in Washington, D.C. leading public safety and disaster preparedness work under the Obama, Biden, and Trump administrations. The daughter of a service-disabled Air Force veteran, she studies risk and community resilience while serving on the Kearsarge Regional School District Budget Committee, focused on keeping the state affordable for families, seniors, and veterans.
