QUICK CLIP: The Next 50’s Mari Manoogian on BBC America Highlights Next-Generation Democrats

For Immediate Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. — In an appearance on BBC America this week, The Next 50 Executive Director Mari Manoogian highlighted how the organization’s endorsed candidates are tackling affordability issues in battleground states across the country.

WATCH:

During the segment, Manoogian outlined how The Next 50’s candidates from “Iowa to Michigan to Wisconsin and all across the United States are laser focused on costs and the kitchen table issues…the American people are facing today.” The Republican panelist responded by saying he “agreed with literally everything” Manoogian had said.

In Iowa, The Next 50’s candidate state Senator Sarah Trone Garriott, who is running for congress in IA-03, is communicating daily with voters about how Washington is selling out Iowa farmers and families and making life unaffordable.

In Michigan, The Next 50’s candidate Christina Hines, a Macomb County attorney who is running for congress in MI-10, is a former sex crimes and child abuse prosecutor who is running to make government work for the people again.

In Wisconsin, Assembly Democratic Leader and The Next 50 candidate Greta Neubauer is leading her caucus’ effort to flip the chamber by focusing on lowering healthcare costs, expanding access to child care, and ensuring that government delivers results for Wisconsin families struggling with rising costs.
